Important
- Materials must comply with the respective format specifications.
- Materials must comply with the General Guidelines for Digital Advertising.
- If the format contains defined safe areas, these must be followed.

All advertising material delivered to Schibsted must comply with applicable technical requirements, security rules, and data protection regulations.
The format pages describe the requirements for each ad format.
In addition to the format specifications, all material must also comply with Schibsted's general production and technical guidelines.
Basic technical requirements
To ensure stable operation and a good user experience, the following general requirements apply:
- All resources must be delivered via HTTPS
- Advertising material must not affect the functionality or scrolling of the page.
- Creative solutions must not break out of the SafeFrame environment
- Only calls to approved domains are permitted (connection screening)
- Materials must not contain malicious code or automatic downloads.
Advertising material that affects the performance of the page or violates these requirements may be denied publication or paused during the campaign.
HTML5 material
HTML5 ads must comply with Schibsted's technical specifications.
Basic principles:
- Initial load must not exceed format-specific maximum weight
- Subload must not exceed 2000 kb
- The number of file calls should be limited
- The ad should work correctly in modern browsers.

Third-party tags & measurement
External third-party measurement is possible if the supplier is approved in accordance with Schibsted's GDPR policy.
All third-party technology must:
- comply with applicable data protection legislation
- delivered via HTTPS
- use approved domain calls
